Valheim Studios has released some new updates on their upcoming game, Mistlands. They’ve also revealed the release date for the update and details of a post-launch downloadable content pack that will be available to players in addition to free patches.
The “valheim mistlands” is a new update that will be releasing on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The update will bring a new map, as well as other features.

Valheim’s creators have revealed information about the game’s next improvements for exploration and survival. There are two places where work is being done. The Mistlands biome will be the largest of the next additions. The landscape and texture of the mountains are also being improved. For each, early concept art has been provided. A new ornamental crafts function called Jack-O-Turnips is also being put out to coincide with the holiday season.

Followers of Richard on Twitter may have noted that he’s experimenting with the topography and textures for the Mistlands, which will be our next major biome upgrade! Please keep in mind that this isn’t the final form, and the terrain will almost certainly alter until we figure out precisely what the Mistlands will look like. It’s also too early to predict what the Mistlands’ implementation will imply for your current worlds, but we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
While the Mistlands’ foundation is being laid, some of us are looking at minor upgrades. A biome upgrade takes a long time to produce, and as previously said, we want to provide you with some minor updates in the meanwhile. Our dungeon master Erik is now working with the art department on a project that will make the Mountains a little more fascinating, particularly for those of you who like exploring new areas. We don’t have a final version of how this will appear yet, but we thought we’d show you some concept art to get a sense of how it will feel.
We hope you didn’t notice that you can now make Jack-o-turnips in the game! Even though the vikings didn’t celebrate Halloween, it’s wonderful to have something to light up the homestead as the days get shorter and the nights become darker… At least, that is how it is in our corner of the globe.
