My partner strewn autumn leaves around the front yard, complete with a fall mountainside, for this one. On the interior, he made Deirdre feel at ease by arranging the whole room to resemble a forest right out of Bambi, complete with mushroom seats and a table, as well as a hammock bed and log furnishings.
The moniker “House Game Hideaway” comes from Claude’s desire for his holiday home to resemble a huge arcade. With that request, the first image that sprang to me was of the arcade I used to frequent as a youngster in the Mall of the Americas in Miami — not to be mistaken with the massive Mall of America in Minneapolis. He named his holiday house “My Pretentious Palace” because he wanted it to be equally as extravagant as his main residence. The fortunate gold cat, a stack of cash, and a safe were among the items he sought for his holiday house, laying the groundwork for him to flaunt his opulent lifestyle. It’s an understatement to say he’s very wealthy and privileged.
Pudge decorated his front yard by planting two Bell trees, placing two golden knight sculptures by the front entrance, and scattering gold bar stacks across the yard. He gave the interior a Midas touch by painting it gold from floor to ceiling, placing a square bathtub in the middle, suspending a chandelier precariously above it, placing a gold toilet in the corner, placing the safe in another corner with the lucky cat perched on top, and placing the money pile on a desk, as if Pudge was a kid mobster who conned his private school classmates out of their lunch money. The completed model resembled a house right out of an episode of MTV Cribs.

“Restroom Refuge,” Lionel said in a strange vacation home request. When you have guests around, he feels you can never have too many bathrooms. Most people’s homes have two to four bathrooms, but Lionel wanted his holiday house to appear like a Hilton Hotel public restroom. My partner erected seashell-themed sinks, fountains, and had some difficulties putting up partition walls to offer him and possible visitors the solitude they need to do their business, apart from the toilets and sink Lionel asked.
