The Terra Maledicta main Easter egg quest guide in Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies has been released on the official forums.
The “vanguard zombies guide” is a quest that has been hidden in the game for years. The Easter egg involves unlocking all of the main characters, and then playing as them.
It’s no secret that Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Zombies are one of the tiniest Zombies encounters Treyarch has delivered since World at War. With the introduction of Terra Maledicta in Vanguard’s Season Two, we received our first big Easter egg quest after a four-month wait. Here’s how to finish it.
Before we get started, keep in mind that this is the most basic and easiest major Easter egg quest ever, to the point that you may not even identify it as a Treyarch main Easter egg quest. This may be done single or with a group of semi-competent random individuals in your team. Use whichever weapon you’re most comfortable with to go through this well before round 10.
To begin, make sure you’ve finished all three of the first gateways. Listen to the gods discuss the Decimator Shield, which is perched above the crystal structure. At either round five or six, Vercanna will urge you to look for the speaking stone near the green fountain. Interact with the rune here at East Spring. You may enter the blue doorway that opens when the gods have finished their conversation. You’ll have a regular Purge goal inside, so clear all the runes by standing in them.

When you return, you must fire the following four golden crystals:

Energy will move to the shield after firing all four, but it will not be enough. You’ll be advised to look near the yellow fountain for the speaking stone. The bazaar is located on the ground level.

A green doorway will open once the gods have another chat. When Zaballa finishes talking, go inside to start a Sacrifice mission. To charge up the shield, make sure you don’t go below and kill the red zombies.
You are returned to the hub after the shield has been charged. Someone has to pick up the Decimator Shield once another long talk has ended.
Go to Debris Field and engage with this rune after the gods have spoken for a bit again. Once again, listen to the gods while guarding yourself and waiting for a doorway to open—time it’s to take the last step. Make sure you have all of the improvements you desire, but don’t be too concerned; it’s a simple process.

You will be given an objective named Void after passing through the portal. The tome you require is hanging in mid-air, with four crimson threads dangling from it. Whoever has the Decimator Shield must go to the end of each of those strands and destroy them with the slam assault.

Using the slam will put it on a 90-second cooldown, so simply concentrate on surviving in between those assaults. The remainder of the time is spent in a simple round-based zombie battle. Holding a zombie or two will stop them from spawning, if you don’t want to deal with additional hordes.

Slam the four terminals of the threads together when the eyes on your shield illuminate, and the tome will fall to the ground. To escape, pick it up and wait for the green doorway to materialize, or just play the Void until you die.
When you return to the hub, your weapons will be upgraded to level three Pack-a-Punch, and a slew of treasure and chests will emerge in front of you for you to take. Play the remainder of the match whatever you like, or exfil, since you’ve accomplished Terra Maledicta’s major Easter egg quest.
