Savathun comes just as Mars reappears, and Guardian finds themselves investigating the region as they approach the enormous spacecraft.
The emergence of Mars is said to have pulled Savathun out of hiding, and intel thinks she is in a vulnerable position.
Because the Cabal has blocked the ship’s flight pathways, you’ll have to work your way past the Cabal and enter Savathun’s ship to locate her.
Goals of the Mission
1) Locate Savathun.
You’ll begin in Agri Sector 24-A Freehold, near a peculiar agricultural field described by Ghost as being found on Mars.
Mars seems to have temporal powers, which explains why you’re seeing bits from the so-called Golden Age.
You must battle your way towards Savathun’s ship, which you will accomplish by battling past Cabal soldiers.
2) Overthrow the Cabal
After crossing through the corn field, you’ll come across numerous Cabal soldiers beside a Launcher that you’ll need to activate.
A Fuel Canister will be dropped by one of the adversaries, which you must pick up and bring to the Launcher to power it up.
When the Launcher is activated, go through it to be catapulted over a big cliff where the Cabal is constructing a massive cannon.
3) Locate a Passage to Savathun’s Ship
When Ghost sees the spacecraft, he has an idea and tells you to take him to a console on the Cabal structure’s interior.
Whenever you are within range of the console, follow the waypoint to it and hack it once you are ready to fend off Cabal soldiers.
Ghost will begin extracting data, and you must remain in the designated location until the completion percentage hits 100%. (When you leave the location, progress is halted; when you return, it restarts.)
4) Get the Cannon Ready (Open Fuel Lines)
Now that Ghost has gathered knowledge, he understands how to enable the cannon to fire, which will need the acquisition of fuel, electricity, and access to projectile control. (Of course, you are the missile.)
You’ll need to travel to the gasoline lines to battle off Cabal foes and find Imperial Mechanics with huge wrenches to unlock the lines.
Defeat the mechanics and open the gasoline lines using the huge wrenches on the designated areas (you’ll have to accomplish this twice).
5) Activate the Cannon’s Generators (Prepare the Cannon)
You’ll arrive to the generators if you follow the waypoint and battle your way through additional Cabal soldiers.
Fight your way through the opponents inside to the Imperial Technicians, who will drop Fusion Cells that you’ll need to put into the Generators. (I did it twice)
6) Make your way to the control room.
Make your way to the control room, which is designated by a waypoint leading to a slight fall, once you’ve powered up the generators.
You’ll have to hop to the sides to get past the revolving pieces, which will finally bring you to the control room.
To get the lift going in the next sector, you’ll need two Override Codes, which you may gain by fighting the Cabal and defeating Imperial Engineers.
Once you have both Override Codes, go to the indicated console and interact with it, which will cause Ghost to summon a lift and a treasure chest.
7) Board the Savathun’s Ship
Fight your way past the opponents and get to the control panel to change the gun trajectory, which will bring you to the cannon chamber.
You’ll battle your way inside the cannon’s barrel before being propelled aboard Savathun’s ship and landing at the entryway.
8) Locate Savathun
Make your way inside the ship and follow the waypoint inside. Make sure you’re armed with the right gear since you’ll be facing some difficult foes shortly.
Ghost will detect traces of Void Light, indicating that another Guardian has come and dispatched the now-dead Cabal in the vicinity.
You are asked to return, but you may not have any other options, so you press on inside the ship.
You’ll have to leap from a bridge to a tiny entryway and up a flowing water system if you follow the waypoint inside the ship.
As you battle your way through the opponents, you’ll observe weird signals of light that the Ghost is disturbed by.
9) Locate Savathun (Collect Tribute)
As you go through the ship, you will come across Hive foes, one of whom will drop Tribute.
You’ll need to gather 5 Tributes in total by beating adversaries and delivering them in modest quantities to a designated area.
Once you’ve delivered all of the Tribute to the designated area, a locked route will open up, and another treasure box with prizes will emerge.
10) Locate Savathun
Return to the waypoint and you’ll find a bridge leading to opponents protecting an entrance; you’ll need to kill them and take a different route to get through the gate.
You’ll notice jumpable regions above you, and your waypoint will guide you through them so you may jump over a closed barrier. (Beware of bursting moths! (Fire them!)
11) Look into the Statue
Once you’ve passed through the gate, explore the weird statue; you’ll need to pick up the piece.
The Artifact of the Black Fleet, which will be the new Artifact in the DLC, will be obtained when you pick up the piece.
You’ll be assaulted by Hive foes when you have the artifact, and you’ll have to defend yourself until the waves are eliminated.
You can go through the top of a sealed door indicated with a waypoint by jumping up to the gap and passing through it.
12) Locate Savathun
Continue following the waypoint until you reach the ship’s interior, where you’ll have to battle your way past opponents.
Make your way to the ship’s interior, where you’ll find a shimmering hole through which you’ll need to leap.
Continue exploring the ship until you find yourself in an open space when Savathun flees, leaving you to combat waves of foes by shutting a portal.
During the battle, you’ll come across a Hive adversary that has its own Ghost and will revive, so you’ll have to engage with it to crush it.
13) Go after Savathun.
After Savathun, you’ll need to keep travelling, but you’ll need to gather Tribute to open a gateway.
Enemies will begin attacking you, and you must collect a total of 3 Tributes and deliver them to the designated spot throughout the battle.
Once you’ve brought all of the Tribute to the designated spot, all other opponents will vanish and a treasure chest will emerge, along with a gateway.
Pass through the portal and battle your way further inside their spacecraft, which has the look and design of a completely other universe.
14) Assassinate Savathun
After defeating the adversaries in the previous chamber, go to the next room where Savathun will be, where you must battle her minions.
You will be able to hurt Savathun when she joins the battle, but be aware that she will produce additional minions.
Continue battling Savathun and her minions until her health is fully depleted, making it look as though she has been defeated.
15) Collect your prize
Another treasure container will emerge, but Ghost believes that even for a powerful Guardian like you, the combat was too easy.
When you go too close to the chest, you’ll be imprisoned, Savathun will arrive, and your vision will fade to black, revealing a cutscene.
You’ll wake up on Mars, where it looks like Savathun has thrown you out, and Ghost reports the Hive enemy’s Ghost.
The expedition concludes with a recap of what has occurred to keep you informed of what has occurred, and you then go to The Enclave on Mars.
Arrival Mission Bonuses
You’ll have collected various items from the several loot boxes that occur when you complete particular tasks throughout the campaign.
You’ll also get weapons to boost your existing arsenal and increase your Power Score during or after the quest.
Tips
