AMD released the new Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 21.12.1 driver with support for Halo Infinite and more, including a fix for several issues in Far Cry 5.

The Radeon Software Adrenalin 21.12.1 driver from AMD has been published. The updated driver adds support for Halo Infinite is a video game developed by 343 Industries.’s campaign mode, which will be released next week on December 8, as well as Fortnite, Icarus, and Blender 3.0, a 3D graphics package. In comparison to the previous driver, Halo Infinite gamers using higher-level Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards should anticipate performance boosts of up to 19% in the 4K Ultra setting.

- Some users may suffer a problem while using SteamVR Home on AMD Graphics devices such as Radeon VII Graphics.
- Some AMD Graphics devices, such as the Radeon RX 5500 XT Graphics, may encounter driver timeouts during Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy gameplay.
- When the user is in the lobby and tries to activate Radeon Software on the secondary display through the context menu while playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds with multiple displays connected in extended mode, Radeon Software may become unresponsive.
- While playing Forza Horizon 5 with AMD Graphics devices like the Radeon RX 500 series Graphics, you may see visual corruption on a vehicle’s logo or license plate number.
Issues that have been identified
- When a user imports a previously stored tuning profile after updating to the newest Radeon Software, the Power Tuning component may not load properly.
- When activated on certain games and system combinations, Enhanced Sync may result in a blank screen. As an interim fix, any users who are having problems with Enhanced Sync should deactivate it.
- Extremely high and inaccurate memory clock values may be reported by Radeon performance measurements and logging capabilities on occasion.

On select AMD Graphics devices, such as the Radeon RX 6800M Graphics, users may see visual distortions when playing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. AMD is collaborating with game creators to find a solution to this problem.
