Fallout TV Series Gets Its First Cast Member

The first major casting for the upcoming TV Series to premiere in 2019. The show is set over 400 years after a nuclear war and will follow the stories of different groups struggling with life post-apocalyptic wasteland.

The “fallout tv show 2021 cast” is the first cast member to be announced for the upcoming Fallout TV Series. The series will be a prequel to the game of the same name, and it will follow a group of people living in Los Angeles before the war.

According to several rumors from entertainment media such as Deadline, Fallout, Amazon Studios’ planned adaptation of Bethesda Game Studios’ post-apocalyptic RPG game, has landed its first leading role in the shape of Emmy-nominated actor Walton Goggins.

Goggins, who has starred in critically acclaimed films such as Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight, will reportedly play a Ghoul in the TV series. Ghouls are a character type from Fallout who are known for their gross and wrinkly skin due to the prolonged effects of radiation after a nuclear war. There’s no word on which Fallout game the show will be based on, if any, but it’ll almost likely try to recreate the fear and isolation of the wastelands that Bethesda’s games are renowned for.

Fallout, which was announced in July 2020, is set to begin production in 2022 exclusively for Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service. The first episode will be directed by Christopher Nolan’s brother, Jonathan Nolan.

Appropriate alum Goggins is presently a recurrent character on HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones, which is in its second season. He also stars with Samuel L. Jackson in Apple TV+’s short series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey.
