Intel’s latest update on its 22 nm desktop lineup hints at a new GPU launch in the second half of 2022. The company also seems to be preparing for next-generation “Celestial” GPUs, which could offer up to 10 teraflops of power that would put them in competition with AMD and Nvidia. Meanwhile, Intel is planning a game streaming service called Project Endgame that sounds like a cross between OnLive and Game Pass.
Intel has confirmed that the Arc Alchemist Desktop GPUs will launch in Q2 2022. The company also teased the arrival of their third-generation “Celestial” GPUs and a game streaming service known as “Project Endgame”.

Today, Intel conducted its 2022 Investor Meeting, and among the many interesting announcements was some details about the company’s long-awaited Arc Alchemist GPUs.
According to an Intel Newsroom article and a message from the official Intel Graphics Twitter account, Intel’s first Arc GPUs will be available for laptop devices this quarter, with desktop and workstation variants following in Q2 and Q3, respectively. Intel also revealed that it has started development on the design for Celestial, the third generation of the company’s Xe-HPG series, which would reportedly contain “ultra-enthusiast” products—presumably high-performance GPUs that can compete with NVIDIA and AMD’s flagship offerings.
Last but not least, there’s “Project Endgame,” which sounds like a game streaming service similar to NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW. According to Raja Koduri’s presentation, which can be watched online, it will be launched in 2022.
