Tenno, greetings!
We’re back after a lengthy hiatus owing to top-secret New War developments for another Semi-Public Test Cluster weekend. We’re aiming to shake off our cobwebs early with a smaller, simpler Mainline test, since last year’s improvements didn’t lend themselves well to public testing. Please read the whole thread before responding!
- We’ll be accessing “Warframe Test” via Steam Keys, so make sure you have one!
- All surveys and postings will be conducted in English, and you must be able to communicate in English to participate.
- Console accounts cannot be replicated to our PC test server despite our best attempts, thus only PC Warframe accounts will be picked to join — sorry!
- We’ll be soliciting input on two aspects of this Mainline update: overall stability and a ‘The New War’ Quest-related item. Only those who have finished ‘The New War’ will be chosen. Prior to the launch, all players, not only test key holders, will be provided information. Once the topic of testing is disclosed on Friday’s Devstream, this thread will be updated to reflect it.
- It will be randomized, so posting here does not ensure entrance. We’re utilizing the forums because we want to make sure that prospective participants understand how to utilize them and have a basic comprehension of the topics mentioned in this post.
- If this all sounds fine to you, just post with “All as one” in this Warframe forum topic to be entered. We’ll be giving out roughly 500 new Steam Keys for this weekend, since this is a lesser upgrade than the previous.
We’ll choose accounts at random from this list of responses. Accounts that have a lot of warnings, reports, or restrictions against them will be withdrawn from the lottery and their keys will be handed to someone else at random.
Furthermore, owing to firewall restrictions, we must maintain our prior policy for previous testers: If you login to Test during a Public Test weekend, you will have access the next time a Test is held. Your Warframe Test access will be canceled if you do not connect during a Public Test weekend, in order to create way for new players in the future.
Later this week, all users who are qualified for weekend testing will get an inbox notification in Warframe. Those who have been deleted will no longer be able to play Warframe Test on Steam. We reserve the right to offer permanent positions to established contributors or other reliable members of the team.
We regret if your schedule prevents you from checking in this weekend; but, this stringent rotation is the only way to assure that more active gamers are always available throughout each test. You may reclaim your access by participating in future lottery discussions!
STEAM KEYS AND NOTICES OF ACCEPTANCE WILL BE SENT VIA IN-GAME INBOX ON FRIDAY JANUARY 29TH. THIS WARFRAME FORUM THREAD WILL CLOSE IN 24 HOURS, AT 15:00 ET ON JANUARY 27TH.
