Recently, an eagle-eyed gamer found that there was something very important missing from the box art for the upcoming title: The PlayStation 5 logo. This means that by this time next year we’ll be able to play CDPR’s world-renowned RPG on Sony’s latest console – and if you’re looking forward to that day with bated breath, then it looks like your patience will soon pay off

CD PROJEKT RED hasn’t given a firm date for the next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, but they might be coming soon.
This is according to fresh files found on the PlayStation Network backend by PlayStation Game Size, which include what seems to be the official cover art for the PS5 edition of the game. The artwork swaps V’s male counterpart with a female version who, instead of clutching a pistol, has her back turned, revealing the back of the iconic Samurai bomber jacket featured in many of the game’s advertising materials.

The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions of Cyberpunk 2077 are expected to be published in the middle of February or early March, according to PlayStation Game Size. The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 will probably come with the game’s next significant update, which is intended to fix a substantial percentage of the game’s lingering problems and performance concerns while taking use of the newest platform technology for greater aesthetics.
