This month’s patch brought with it new features and a wide variety of bug fixes. The main highlight is the addition of Invasion Missions, a brand-new type of PvE gameplay that gives players an opportunity to take on enemies from beyond our world!
The “fallout 76 season 2” is a new update for the game. The patch notes are available on the official website of Bethesda.

NEW SEASONAL EVENT: BEYOND INVADERS
Mysterious aliens from the furthest reaches of space have invaded our sky and are taking the brainwaves of Appalachian lifeforms! Collaborate with other humans to combat the alien filth and send them running back to their ships before they can finish their “research.”
- An Alien Mothership will emerge over one of many high-profile Appalachian areas every hour on the hour to install three Brainwave Siphons in the vicinity.
- To begin the event, go to the Mothership’s location and investigate Siphon Kappa.
- Before the aliens may finish their Brainwave Extraction procedure, players must destroy all three Brainwave Siphons one by one as the event starts.
- The only difficulty is that each Siphon is shielded by a force field that is commanded by a different Alien Commander.
- To draw out the Commander for each Siphon, defeat alien armies. When you kill the Commander, the force barrier will dissipate, enabling you and your other event participants to take out the Siphon.
- If you can destroy all three Brainwave Siphons in the allotted time, you’ll get some treasure, XP, and the possibility to gain blueprints for new alien weapons and C.A.M.P. artifacts.
- Keep an eye out for alien invaders during certain Public Events, such as Campfire Tales, Free Range, and Line in the Sand, as long as the Invaders from Beyond Seasonal Event is active. Our interested guests may also appear in new Random Encounters that we’re releasing with this release.
IMPROVEMENTS IN FALLOUT WORLDS
IN FALLOUT WORLDS, EARN S.C.O.R.E.
We’ve added the opportunity to continue your Season experience in Fallout Worlds as a result of user input. You’ll be able to earn S.C.O.R.E. in the future by completing non-repeatable Daily and Weekly Challenges while playing in Public and Custom Worlds.
EXPLORE NEW CUSTOM WORLD SETTINGS
In the Public Test Server, we’re adding a number of new Custom World settings that Fallout 1st members may experiment with. Take a look at a short explanation of each one below, then navigate to the Test Server to customize them.
- Carry Weight: Change the Carry Weight parameter to specify the maximum quantity a player may carry. Alternatively, to modify max weight by a percentage, utilize the Carry Weight Multiplier parameter. Reduce the value to zero or increase it to eleven times the default value.
- Frequent Confetti: A new Dismemberment setting that causes opponents you kill to burst into a confetti cloud.
- Perk Effects: With this option, you may choose whether players can benefit from Normal Perk benefits, Legendary Perk effects, both, or none.
- VATS: We’ve introduced the option to turn off VATS targeting against other players, or even completely deactivate VATS.
- Building Restrictions Have Been Relaxed: In build mode, the “Toggle Snapping” option may now be modified to enable you to put C.A.M.P. objects even if they cross.
- Weather: If you liked the gloomy sky above the Mothman Equinox Seasonal Event, you can now use the Weather Setting to bring it to your Custom Worlds.
Additionally, the Happy Builder Public World is now accessible on the Public Test Server, allowing anybody to experiment with the improved Toggle Snapping option while creating some intersecting C.A.M.P. objects.
TEST YOUR METAL IS A NEW PUBLIC EVENT.
- Please note that “Test Your Metal” will be included in a future patch after the Invaders from Beyond Update. However, we’ve included it in this PTS to get some early feedback from the community. Give it a go and let us know how you like it.
The Brotherhood of Steel has discovered that the Rust Eagles, a gang of Blood Eagles, have been accumulating spare robot parts in order to build an army of battle bots. Scribe Valdez just sent a Field Team to explore the potential danger to Appalachia.
- The Test Your Metal Public Event will appear on your map at the Metal Dome in the Savage Divide, slightly north of Fort Atlas. To begin the event, go there and chat with Initiate Pappas.
- When Test Your Metal starts, you’ll be one of three members of the Brotherhood Field Team battling the Rust Eagles’ lethal robots as gladiators.
- In three rounds of frantic warfare, you and the Gladiators of Steel will face off against the bots. You’ll move to the next round if you defeat the opponent in the first round.
- Once you’ve completed all three rounds, you’ll get loot, XP, and the potential to win uncommon items, such as blueprints for the new Raider Robot Armor set.
- Make careful to protect your teammates and have Stimpaks on hand in case they fall. The more Gladiators of Steel who make it out of the arena alive, the better your chances of earning uncommon goodies become.
IMPROVEMENTS IN ADDITION
- Buildable Pirate Radio: When you’re resting at home, tap your toes to Appalachia’s newest radio station with a buildable Pirate Radio that you can install in your C.A.M.P. To locate it, open the construction menu and go to the Appliances section.
- Backpacks that are invisible: The community has long sought the opportunity to conceal their present backpacks from view. With the new “Show Backpack” game option, you may now do precisely that. Don’t worry, you’ll still get all of your pack’s perks even if it’s concealed.
- Stimpak Changes: We’ve decreased the weight of Stimpaks and Diluted Stimpaks by 25% while also lowering their pricing by 25%. In addition, the amount of Stimpaks and Diluted Stimpaks available in Medical Vending Machines has been raised.
