NVIDIA is coming out with a new card that might be the most powerful GPU ever. The company’s next-gen flagship will feature ray tracing, deep learning super sampling and more. Featuring an 11GB GDDR6 frame buffer, 16-pin power connector, 480W TDP rating and 3x DisplayPort 1.4 connectors on the front of its PCB (PCB stands for printed circuit board), this video card might not just beat Nvidia’s previous generation but it could also provide a significant cost savings over cards such as the RTX 2080 Ti while still being “super powered.”
The “msi 3090” is a graphics card from Nvidia. It has a 3.5-slot design, 16-pin power connector, and 480-watt TDP.

Is it possible for a graphics card to be so thick that it becomes obnoxious? MSI’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X, a premium version of NVIDIA’s future flagship graphics card that will take up not two, not three, but almost four slots in height, has resurrected the subject. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X has a 3.5-slot design, making it one of the thickest graphics cards in the current generation, according to leaked data supplied by VideoCardz. The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X from MSI will also be unusual in that it will be one of the first graphics cards to use the new 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 power connection, a design decision that was likely influenced by its 480-watt TDP. This is 60 watts more than the power consumption of the GeForce RTX 3090 SUPRIM X.
The MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X has been leaked, and it has a 3.5-slot design, a 16-pin connection, and a 480W TDP (VideoCardz)
The SUPRIM X is a fully customized graphics card with a triple-fan and 3.5-slot configuration. The card has 10752 CUDA cores and fully implements the GA102. The memory subsystem has seen the most substantial improvement, with 21 Gbps and 2 GB GDDR6X modules now available (Micron IZU47 D8BZC).
In Gaming and Extreme modes, the GPU frequency has been boosted to 1950 MHz and 1965 MHz, respectively, whereas the NVIDIA reference clock is 1860 MHz. This comes at a higher TDP of 480W (+30W), but it’s still within the 525W (450W + 75W) range offered by the new PCIe Gen5 16-pin power connection and PCIe slot.
The RTX 3090 Ti SUPRIM X is a thick 3.5-slot design that weighs 2.1 kg, which is 200 grams more than the RTX 3090 SUPRIM. The display output arrangement remains same, however the card now has a three-slot I/O bracket, which is insufficient to cover the card’s height. On March 29th, MSI will release the RTX 3090 Ti. The actual price has yet to be determined.
