5. PYKE PROJECT

Although I don’t consider this skin to be particularly horrible, it is my least favorite of the bunch.
First and foremost, the character model is woefully inadequate for a legendary skin.
Sure, your blade and shoulder parts have that high-tech look to them. However, the remainder seems to be really uninteresting.
Furthermore, the images and sound effects are terrible, since they are identical to those of every other PROJECT skin. Which isn’t horrible, but for such a high-priced skin, you’d expect a little more.
Sure, PROJECT: Pyke introduces a slew of new emotes, with the dancing emote standing out as the most powerful – not to mention an epic backing animation.
But I don’t believe it compensates for the rest.
There’s also a new voice, home-guard, and death animation in the skin, but none of these are that intriguing in my opinion.
This is a competent skin in general. It’s also a viable option if you want the most flexibility.
However, I believe the others in Pyke’s collection will offer you a lot more bang for your money.
4. Pyke of the Sand Wraith

The film was released on May 31st, 2018. 1350 RP is the price.
Despite the fact that I’m rating this skin low, I have to give Riot credit for it, since they seldom nail a release skin as effectively as they did this one.
The sand bandit concept is a perfect match for Pyke. And the character model is just what you’d expect.
Especially because it includes a hood, which quickly cools off any skin.
All of your normal ability particles have been replaced with sand, which unifies the whole concept. And your new background animation makes you feel like the cockiest and most powerful bandit the world has ever seen.
Or, for that matter, like Dio.
A voice filter, additional voice lines, and, most crucially, the only genuine pink chroma are all included with the skin.
My only quibble is that your W still has sharks around your adversary, which seems a little out of place.
Nonetheless, it’s a fantastic skin that’s only ranked this low because the others are so much better.
Pyke of the Blood Moon

Everything about Blood Moon Pyke is cursed in such a wonderful way.
Blood is continually streaming from your knife, which is guaranteed to give you the fear factor.
The audio on both your fifth ult and background animation shouts samurai murder, and your W indicator has demonic Poros circling your opponent.
The character model is also entirely based, with the amazing skull devil mask being the highlight for me. And your new particles are all sharp and sinister.
Plus, you have to admire how easily water can be substituted for blood effects while maintaining a sense of immersion.
Overall, this is a fantastic skin with a fantastic theme, different sound effects, excellent particles, and lots of nightmares.
If you’re a weeb like myself, I highly suggest this one because, let’s face it, we’re suckers for this kind of stuff.
2. Pyke Sentinel

The film will be released on July 22nd, 2021. 1350 RP is the price.
Sentinel Pyke is one of the most recent skins to reach the market, so anticipate it to be perfect in terms of performance.
With the famous blend of white, black, and gold, the character model has a pretty beautiful noble vigilante sense going for it, really nailing down the Sentinel image.
Your ability particles are also very clear and sharp. The R is my particular favorite portion since it seems so much simpler to land on than any other skin.
I also appreciate what Riot did with the W since it nicely balances frightening and strangely beautiful.
As with other Sentinel skins, the new backdrop animation has you fighting your inner demons, and the color choices is good all around.
I was thinking about posting this skin first since it seems to be the most polished of the five.
Sentinel will have to settle with the following skin since I believe it is more acceptable in terms of the original champion fantasy.
1. Pyke from PsyOps

On September 17th, 2020, the film will be released. 1350 RP is the price.
PsyOps Pyke essentially takes elements from each prior edition and merges them into a single masterpiece.
It shares Sand Wraith’s hood, PROJECT’s futuristic atmosphere, Blood Moon’s overwhelming edge-lord approval rate, and Sentinel’s demonic possession.
Even though the final one can only be seen in his new backing animation, it still qualifies.
The skin instantly transforms you into the badass ruthless assassin you’ve always been – and all of the new animations and particles blend in seamlessly.
To be honest, the character model would have been enough to sell me on the notion.
However, the fact that your sixth ult also blasts dubstep at full power makes this an easy decision.
Overall, it seems to be the most obvious choice for our Lethality-obsessed lollygagger from a thematic standpoint. All of my requests were met by the design team.
So this is without a doubt my favorite Pyke skin of the bunch.
