Even in the early days of Pyromancer, it was clear that there were already some excellent weapons to be found. This short guide will give you an overview of them and why they are considered among the best in game.

The “best weapons for pyromancer outriders” is the best way to win in battles. This list of the top 10 best weapons will help you decide which one you want.

Sorcerers, hexers, and clerics have all been discussed in prior articles. So it’s only right that we discuss about pyromancers for a few minutes.

Unlike the DS predecessor, where you merely needed to increase your flame to deliver maximum damage, pyromancy in Dark Souls 2 requires you to consider a few other elements.

To begin, your fire damage in this game increases dependent on the amount of your intellect and faith levels, up to a soft limitation of 60 (the combination doesn’t matter; it might be 10/50, 30/30, or even 59/1).

You don’t have to go all-in on stat investment if you want to live the fire lifestyle. Upgrading your pyromancy flame(more on this later) also boosts your damage output, so you don’t have to go all-in on stat investing if you want to live the fire lifestyle.

With that stated, let’s stoke the fires and have a look at some of the greatest pyromancing weapons on the market!

Chaos Rapier, no. 6

We’re going to start with a traditional thrusting sword.

We’ll favor weapons with natural elemental damage, which in our case is fire, much like other elemental damage oriented builds.

The Chaos Rapier is an excellent pick because of its quick moveset, which, when combined with its damage, allows you to kill adversaries in a flash. A rapier imbued with fire may also be used as a replacement.

A rapier is always a good pick, no matter what your build is about.

How to obtain it: Felkin the Outcast sells it.

5. Armor Sword in Possession

This weapon can save you an attunement slot, which is something that most others can’t.

The special attack of the Possessed Armor Sword (whew, that was a mouthful) engulfs it in flames, increasing its fire damage.

As a result, Flame Weapon will no longer keep one of your valuable slots captive, allowing you to utilize something considerably more exciting, such as CHAOS STORM!

Aside from that, it’s a good straight sword on its own.

Not bad!

How to obtain it: Possessed Armors drop it.

4. Halberd of the Black Knight

A pyromancer’s weapon of choice is usually something light and nimble, requiring little strength and agility so that they may put their faith and/or intellect into it.

That isn’t always the case, but…

The Black Knight weapons return to show that everything is better when you grow strength!

All of these weapons are exceptional at what they do, delivering massive amounts of damage and range that either pancake or send opponents soaring to their demise.

I feel required, as I have every other time I’ve mentioned them in an essay, to state that the halberd is my personal favorite and that I will not be discouraged from using the others.

How to obtain it: Kobolds at Aldia’s Keep dropped Treasure in the Shaded Woods inside a metal chest.

3. Axe (hand)

I’m anticipating a lot of misunderstanding here.

At this point in the rankings, a Hand Axe? How is it possible?!

Don’t worry, dear reader; I’ll answer all of your queries.

The Hand Axe seems to be a weak weapon, yet it is really rather powerful.

Though it has a lot of damage and a solid moveset, which is enough to make it a powerful weapon in and of itself, its real potential resides in how easy it is to use.

It just requires 9 strength and 3 dexterity points from you, so you can put your other points to better use!

If you want to invest more points into strength, the Bandit Axe is also a good option.

How to obtain it: The Bandit’s starting weapon, sold by Merchant Hag Melentia, and found in the Forest of the Fallen Giants’ treasure (behind a soldier key door).

Smelter Sword is number two on the list.

We’ve got yet another powerful hitter on our hands.

The Smelter Sword is the polar opposite of our last entry, since it is a super greatsword that requires 40 strength to one-hand.

A strike from this weapon, like every other UGS, causes ridiculous levels of damage, and you should be able to take down any adversary in a few of slashes.

The Smelter Sword stands out from the competition because of its hefty strikes, which burst in flames as the blade hits the ground, incinerating your opponents while awarding you additional style points.

The explosion effect from the heavier strikes will still be there if you decide to be a crazy and powerstance this.

Trade the Smelter Demon Soul to Straid of Olaphis to receive it.

1. The Flame of Pyromancy

A pyromancer’s flame is, of course, their most powerful weapon.

I mean, how could it be anything else?

There aren’t many flames to pick from, unlike other catalysts like staves and chimes, so let’s look at the figures for our two alternatives.

There are only two types of flames in the game: standard and dark pyromancy.

The regular flame gives you precisely what you’re searching for, and it’ll be used in the majority of builds.

The dark variant has a greater base damage and an intrinsic feature that boosts or reduces your damage depending on whether you’re hollow or human.

Essentially, there are two questions to consider before making your decision:

“Do I have a hollow core?” “Do I want the cheapest pyromancy?” and “Do I want the cheapest pyromancy?”

Use the black flame if you answered “yes” to any of the questions.

If you’re unsure what’s going on, just use the standard flame and everything will be OK!

Finally, I’d like to point out the unique equipment that works well with pyromancy and fire, such as the Penal Handcuffs and King’s Ring for increased damage, and the Hexer’s/Hood Saint’s for greater casts!

The standard flame may be discovered inside a chest following the Flexile Sentry bossfight in No-Man’s-Wharf. The black flame may be seen behind various vases in the Gutter.

The “ds2 pyromancy weapons” is a weapon set in Dark Souls II. It consists of the following: Flame Swathe, Fireball, Great Combustion, Fire Tempest, and Chaos Bed Vestige.
