“In order to make this game’s experience something remarkable, the whole production team is continuing to work relentlessly on this game,” Aonuma apologized, adding, “so please wait a little longer.”
The reason for the delay was not stated, but Zelda fans can anticipate new encounters, gameplay components, a larger area, and much more when the game releases next year. The original Breath of the Wild was a huge hit, selling roughly 26 million copies worldwide since its debut.
