Fury stones are rare items that in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 players can use to unleash powerful magic attacks on enemies, but they cannot be found anywhere throughout the game world or during boss battles so must be gathered from other sources like chests and dropped by defeated enemies. The locations where fury stones can be collected remain unknown for most end-game players, making it difficult to farm them without outside help from less skilled members of the community who have already completed all of Kingdom Heart 1.5 -2.

Where To Farm Fury Stones in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 –

Only in Kingdom Hearts 1.5/Final Mix can you find Fury Stones, which are a sort of synthesis component. Only the Gigas Shadow Heartless drop them, and they only exist in Wonderland.

The Wonderland Bizarre Room has a small possibility of spawning these large shadows.

They look just like the regular Shadow Heartless we all know & love, except they’re huge.

You may farm these people by landing in the Queen’s Castle’s save area and then entering the Bizarre Room from there. If you enter and don’t see the standard Shadows spawning, exit and return.

You’ll want to make sure you’re just seeing ordinary Shadows, and then you’ll need to fight all of the shadows that spawn, otherwise the Gigas swarm will be released.

If at all feasible, beat all seven Gigas to ensure at least one stone.

These stones may be used to create the EXP Earring and the Fantasista staff for Donald.

Location + Tips for Fury Stone Farming

Only the Shadows of Gigas drop Fury Stones, and you’ll need to beat at least three of them to earn a shot at one — defeating all seven will guarantee you a drop, but that’s tougher said than done.

These considerably bigger counterparts of the Shadow Heartless are out to spoil your day, no longer being runts.

They spawn in a rare encounter in the Wonderland Bizarre Room. If you enter the room and there are lots of normal shadows around, that’s a good sign & exactly what you’ll want to see.

Continue to vanquish the lesser bois until the larger ones appear.

With each Gigas Shadow you beat, your odds of getting a Fury Stone rise dramatically, eventually reaching 100% after you defeat seven of them.

When a Gigas Shadow touches you, though, it will despawn. Even if you didn’t lose the battle or sink to 0 HP, it may be despawned with only one physical strike.

So you’ll need to be playing offense & defense for this battle.

However, to assist you in strategizing, below is a drop table for these stones:

Shadows of Gigas Drop Rate
Defeated 1 0%
Defeated 2 0%
Defeated 3 10%
Defeated 4 20%
Defeated 5 35%
Defeated 6 50%
7 have been defeated. 100%

Uses of the Fury Stone

Only a few of recipes call for this synthesis component, but they’re both worth making:

EXP Earring: Equipping these earrings to any party member will raise their exp gains by 20%, with the impact increasing as you equip more.

List I Synthesis and the following components may be used to make one of these earrings:

  • Fury Stone (x1)
  • Power Stone x1
  • a single Mythril Stone
  • Serenity Power x1
  • Dark Matter x3

Fantasista: This is a terrific staff for Donald, giving him +3 strength and MP.

Utilize its potency by synthesizing it using List VI and the following ingredients:

  • Fury Stones x3
  • Power Stones x3
  • Mythril x3
  • Energy Stones x5

Is it Worth Farming Fury Stones?

It’s possible that the Gigas Shadow battle is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You have a strong possibility of earning a lot of stones if you can take out waves of them, particularly if you have drop rate skills like Lucky Strike and Jackpot enabled.

Unless you want additional EXP Earrings, you’ll only need 4-5 of them to finish all of the recipes. Even then, you’d definitely need at least 7 or 8 Fury Stones to stack enough EXP Earrings.

It shouldn’t be too difficult of a feat – but be sure to avoid getting hit by any of Shadows of Gigas.

If you are struck even once, the Gigas Shadow will despawn, reducing your odds of getting a drop.
