Unofficial Community Stream Recap: April 1st (Not a joke coverage*)

This is a recap of the Kripparrian official stream on April 1st, 2018.

Some recent gaming news caught our attention, so we decided to bring you some of the highlights from across the community.

Hey, here’s an unofficial report of the community broadcast on April 1st.

Note that this is completely unofficial, since I’m just a man putting up a synopsis of the broadcast, and that anybody interested in the whole context should watch the video.

The news for next week is as follows:

Contract for a centrifuge is due on April 5th.
A new CW small TT line has been added. Heavy Western line. M103 and M103A2. T34. At least one of them is from Era 2.
The SU-152 Taran is a new World War II tier X premium. Good pen and alpha damage, seems like another 850 from the description.
Fixed a bug in CW that was generating additional fall damage.
A new round of the premium bonus event has begun. STRV 103, Rhm Pz waggon, and TVP 50/51 are the next tank lines.
Set a good example. Earn op: Kilma, how about a 3D commander? (I’ve grown a swaggering mustache.)
Guardian STG earn op in April.
Tier X silver event twice.

As a result of the large number of Leopards that played in the office, the CW Germans will be arriving shortly next season.
The approaching missile warning system is being tested.
For CW, we’re testing changes to fall damage.
Arty 2.0 is nearing the point where early improvements may be tested.
CBMM will be put to the test in the upcoming update.
The nerf ticket for PZ 5/4 is being brought ahead.

Reminders regarding when the releases will be made:

Dragon Ridge (April) and Nomonhan (?) are the next maps.
Slapjack’s contract expires on April 12th, while Bulwark’s contract expires on April 26th.

QNA:

Is there a way to improve the armor of CW UK tanks? Mostly Conq – They seem to be decent in general, yet we may have a look at the Conqueror.
Is there a trophy system for CW? – Yes, in principle, but there isn’t enough technology to make it happen.
- (Zorin – I’m not sure how this is feasible with most hard kill systems from the 2000s.)
– Is 7v7 ranked? There are no plans in the process, and the emphasis is on the Ace tanker competition.
Bradley fan? After the “Nerf,” no one appears to want to play it – There are no plans; it’s working nicely.
- Zorin – it featured a 10 second missile reload, which was a nerf for the multi-weapon system’s cost. This barely qualifies as a nerf.
– Are there any more E3 tanks that aren’t heavies? At the moment, I’m working on media. TDs are difficult. I’m awaiting the arrival of a new system. Due to the increased use of MBTs, TDs are becoming more uncommon. Many of the TDs in history were wheeled vehicles, and that is most likely what we would have.
When do CW Germans date? – You’ll be able to see the new season later this month.
Is there a need for more IFVs? – Era 2 is in the works. The majority of them will be lights or TDs.
FV 4005 needs a buff since its damage is terrible. – Which one is it? Next question: CW or WW2? You didn’t clarify. – Both are going well, and WW2 may get some attention.
We have plans for FCM F1 and Char 2C.
In CW, SPGs? What about a direct hit? We need more variety – but not right now; we’re waiting for Arty 2.0 to be released before we consider that.
A larger micro map? – that’s something we can put on the wish list.
What is the rationale behind the E4 armor buff? – It had been performing poorly for that tank before. In comparison to other TDs, I was doing 4-5 percent poorer. Armor is now on par with that of others. According to the data, it is now performing in the middle of the pack.
What are the next maps to be updated? – Dragon Ridge and Nomonhan
When the 2x silver op is active, may we have a silver benefit for tier 8s battling against tier 10s? – Tier X events are notoriously costly to put on, so this one is for them. However, we can look into it.
What is the current state of the T95? – Right now, things are looking quite fantastic.
Is there a Japan tree in CW? – Yes, although it’s a little out of the way. There are concerns with the restricted quantity of tanks available. It will either be combined with another line or will just include premiums.

Here’s a TT I put together. Yes, the K1 is Korean, but it’s similar enough, plus it features siege mode as well. (Comes to a halt near E3 T2)

CW in Sweden? – in the end.
Is there a deal on a premium Tier X light tank? All light tanks in tier X games are bad since they are always in tier X – we may seek for a Tier X light.
- However, a 10-shot bulldog is on its way.
Panzer 7 buff: gun mantlet? –
- “I’m going to have to say no on that since I know how beastly the monster is.” You won’t believe how horrible it can be in a play test when people aren’t used to some of those tanks. That one area may be bad, but the remainder of the time, no one knows where to fire it, so it survives forever. It’ll simply go on a rampage, so probably not, but we can keep an eye on it.” – Pestilence (Full quote)

In the comms wheel, bring back “Need a target” and “Cover me.” – That’s on a ticket with two other people. I don’t have a date set yet, but it isn’t too far away.
– Next season, Czech heavyweights. (You’ve been asked this so many times…..)
Is it feasible to have a commander-only free xp? – We’ll take a look into it.
Reforge in STB 1? – It has already been added to the list.
Is it possible to put medals in our inventory stack since we have too many string theory medals? – That’s something we can look into.
Is there a new version of the WW2 HUD? – For the time being, there is no update. I’ll look at making it a higher priority.
Do you want a premium doom turtle? – Sure, we can make one.
Are you contemplating vulcan or chaparov-equipped Lights tanks? – We can investigate, but auto guns need an ATGM to cope with difficult targets.
We may file a suggestion ticket on why ghost towns, mountain passes, and mines are banned for tier Xs. Perhaps because individuals had already expressed their dissatisfaction with it.
Is there any word on which CW German tank will be available? Leopards –
Can we have additional garage customizing options? – It’s on our wish list, but completing it requires so many resources that it’s often put back.
Is there any intention of buffing the tier 8 and 9 sturmtiger line? – The tier 9 will not benefit from a gun arc boost since it will fire itself. Keep an eye out for it in the future.
Isn’t it possible to name the CW tanks the same as the WW2 counterparts? – To make the tanks stand out, we write the year on them. We aim to stick to historical names, but we’ll see what else we can come up with.
What will be the theme for the next season? – I didn’t obtain approval to say this week, but watch for a clue next week. “ Specifically, the materials that make up a tank. What category would you put wotek in? (I couldn’t hear the last word)
Is there a Japanese TD line? – I’m looking for tanks to put it in. A dual-gun Japanese TD is in the works.
– Are you a fan of the elderly? It seems to be functioning normally, therefore there are no plans.
