CD PROJEKT S.A. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) wants to offer an update on the release timeline for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on next-gen platforms (Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5). The Company’s Management Board states that, based on suggestions from people in charge of development, it has chosen to devote more time to both initiatives. The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in the first quarter of 2022, followed by the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in the second quarter of 2022.
The studio initially planned to release its next-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 in late 2021, according to a PowerPoint presentation released as part of CD PROJEKT RED’s H1 2021 results. Since August 28, 2021, Cyberpunk 2077 has been without a patch.
